What to expect during carpentry work

Measurements and design are agreed before anything is built, including how the fire, TV and any storage will actually be used day to day. Cabling is planned and run before panelling goes up, not fitted around afterwards. Dust sheeting protects flooring and furniture throughout, and the room is left clean once the finish is complete.
