Eastside Construction Essex & Sons started the way most good tradesmen's businesses do, one job at a time, mostly by referral. Today we cover landscaping and home improvement projects across Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze and Ipswich, but the way we work hasn't changed: the person who quotes the job is on site building it.

Every job starts with a free site visit, not a price guessed over the phone. We measure the actual space, talk through what you want from it, and put together a clear written quote before anything is booked in. There's no separate sales team handing the job over to a different crew once it's signed off, the person who quoted it is the person doing the work.

That applies across all nine services we offer, from patios and decking through to loft conversions and full bathroom renovations. Keeping everything in-house, rather than farming work out to subcontractors, is what lets us give a straight answer on timescales and stand behind the finish once we've packed up and gone.

Most of our work is within easy reach of Colchester, though we regularly take on projects further along the coast toward Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze, and inland as far as Ipswich.
